Jetty Breeze (U#10288)

My family and I had an excellent stay. We loved being right on the beach.

This house is right on the water. That is very convenient. However, the fact that you have to make your own beds with stained sheets and provide toilet paper, paper towels all the soaps....I’ve never had any home that I have stayed at from VRBO or Airbnb that I’ve had to provide every single one of those things, it’s in the small print on your confirmation email so just be sure you know in advance that you need trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. which in the grand scheme of things isn’t a huge deal if you’re prepared for it, I suppose, but for what you pay for this house it’s a little annoying I personally would never stay here again.

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The cousins, ranging from 9-4 had big fun playing in front of the house and meeting new friends in the water as we all enjoyed hanging out at the water’s edge.
The house accommodated us all perfectly. It would have been nice to have some wooden pallets under outdoor shower instead of washing off in the sand we bought foot tubs to put at base of stairs and before door to try to keep the sand out of the house.
Highly recommend the location for families. We’ll definitely be returning.

And as always Bluewater is the best rental service. I’ve been using them for years and I have no complaints whatsoever.

Beach get a way

Had a very good time at the Jetty Breeze! The house was very comfortable and everything was in working order. The only thing I couldn't get to work very well was the 2 of the bedrooms...but I am technically challenged! Not the fault of anything but myself!

Property was nice. We're a family of four, with two young boys, and they loved it. Waking up and being ON the beach was a huge plus. Being close to the Jetty was great. Fishing and watching the ships was great. There are some odd things to deal with, but it's no fault of the property or the management. Its a public beach and it gets busy. It was odd when some folks just camp out under the house, and would even sit on the steps. We politely asked for the to move and they did, it was just odd. Otherwise, clean house, comfortable beds, pet friendly... enjoyed our time, overall.

Loction is the greatest experience.
Loved to walk into the shoreline, great view day & night. The fun place with slight swinging structure.

I don’t nothing bad to say this place it’s great and perfect location

This house is located right on the water. It was a perfect place to watch my daughter and her friends while they played on the beach and in the water. House fit everyone perfectly. It was clean and well maintained. Great customer service with BRRI. I would recommend bringing beach chairs because there is only a picnic table on the patio.

Great Thanksgiving week stay at Jetty Breeze. Perfect size and location for our family.

We enjoyed staying at Jetty Breeze during the weekend of Nov. 6 and 7, 2021, with our family. Well, first of all, we missed little things in kitchen and bathrooms, only one little toilet roll per bathroom, one hand soap missing, only 3 cleaning pods for dishwasher, no paper towels. We think the price for cleaning and linens is way too high. Suggestion: Let the guests bring their own linens and towels, would save at least $ 150.- and the guests needed to sweep the floors and vacuum the carpets. What else is there for the cleaning crew to do for $ 120.-

Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends truly amazing every one had an experience they will never forget they loved the house and and so close to the water.

Location, location, location......Jetty Breeze is the perfect location. Literally a few steps from the house to the beach. House was perfect, modern, spacious kitchen, bathrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious as well. You cannot go wrong with Bluewater Resort Rentals.

We rented this home for the third time last week (wed thru sunday). It is clean, well maintained, and the rental group is nice/easy to work with. We have 6 children with us ranging from 5 to 13. Since the house is right on the beach, the older ones can go out and play while still being in earshot, and no streets to cross. Beach is not too crowded until friday/saturday. We had to set up early on saturday before others took the spot in front of the house. You also have to watch under the house those days, a few people will try to set up right under the house which is not allowed. Kitchen is VERY limited, bring your own peeler and wine glasses. But the good far out weighs a few missing kitchen utensils. Looked forward to renting again next year!

Our family had the most wonderful week at Surfside. Jetty Breeze was perfect for our needs. The house had plenty of space, beds were very comfortable, kitchen and eating area was perfect and we loved the location. We also really enjoyed the large deck with the picnic table. We would definitely rent this house again.

Great location: Pedestrian beach (no cars), great view of the ships coming into port. Did you know there’s an app to track ships: where they’re coming from, where they’re going, what their cargo is?

We have stayed here twice! We love how spacious it is for bigger groups. We stayed with another family and felt like we all had our own space. House was clean and updated since the last time we were there!

Great beach house, great location. We had the best weekend! The Jetty Shack a few streets over was a huge hit, we went there every day!

People were camping out under house the whole time,different families. People urinating under house, using shower without permission, stealing our fishing poles from trailer. We had to evacuate because of hurricane after second day there. No one from Blue water Rentals even called us to advise us what to do. We were dependent on the news channel. We went back two days later and stairs were hanging. We tried to secure the stairs the best we could. We stayed two more days, then we got fed up and tried to leave, but four cars and trucks were parked behind us blocking us in. We finally left ,very disappointed !!We did not even get a call to offer us some kind of refund for at least having to evacuate .

Good experience, no issues! AC kept us nice & cool! Plenty of kitchen stuff! Beds COMFY!! Enjoyed the pedestrian beach immensely! We will be back!!

The house was in great shape we had a lovely stay at the Jetty Breeze. The only down fall was the trash can was full when we arrived and we had a lot of people going under our house trashing the place and using the shower without permission.

Holly and Leitha are great to work with. They are professional, attentive to details, and available to answer even the smallest questions guests may have.

Overall the house was fine. The porch had no furniture to sit on outside. Had some plumbing problems and the front door lock was rusted and hard to open.

The beach is not too crowded and clean. The kitchen is minimally stocked but works fine for our needs. Blue water staff is attentive, friendly, and easy to rent from. Guaranteed we will rent this house again next year.

This was a great house! My family of 4 stayed here with my parents and we had a blast! House was clean, the views were awesome! Only thing would be to possibly replace a few pots and pans :)

Appreciated the reverse osmosis water filter under the kitchen sink so we could have clean drinking water, all we had to bring was our own bags of ice. Even though the beach is public, it is not crowded. We liked that we could easily watch the children from the beach house and we were close enough we could go under the house for shade. The ocean bottom is smooth, none of that "slimy" consistency you have in Galveston and no seaweed. We enjoyed being close to the jetty to watch the boats and also to walk on. We were in walking distance to the Jetty Shack which has a great kids menu and very appreciated since we were starving when we arrived. They do allow smoking but the food is great, just call to pick up your food and enjoy your meal at the fabulous beach house.

The location is literally on the beach front with a view of the jetties and walking distance to the park. The house sleeps 14, but that would have been uncomfortable because the 2 bunk rooms (that sleep 8) are very small with hardly any closet or drawer space to keep luggage and personal items. I highly recommend this place if you are a close group of about 8-10 people max. The house was well kept with direct access to the beach so if you are a beach lover, you will love this house too.

Very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

We rented this property for a surprise birthday party for my wife, I had to work late and office staff was helpful and let my brother-in-law pick up keys and take care of paperwork. Location was awesome, we got to watch several ships come into the port with tug boats, the beach was very close and only a few houses had access to it. House was nice and clean, just wish they had a bigger dumpster onsite, 14 people fill up a dumpster quick! We are hoping to rent this property again to have our family Christmas vacation in the future.

Excellent! nice beach house

The house was very comfortable for our family of 14. The 2 bunk rooms are very small but since all you do is sleep there so it was okay. The bunk beds do not have rails so is not safe for small children. The kitchen and living area are large. Great air-conditioner. The house is new so could still use a few items for convenience, i.e. measuring cups and spoon. The location is great, walking distance to the jetty. The walkway over to jetty needs repair - last step is missing so it makes for a 2 foot drop to beach. This is very difficult for older or handicapped guests. Overall, it was a great place to vacation. Staff at Brannon's was very friendly and helpful.

Over all a great vacation. Coffee pot not working and three outlets in kitchen not working. Love being on water. Beautiful sunrise from porch. Yes will come back. Just surprised about new cabin and 3 outlets out. Love watching surfers and ships.

I booked this house because it was new. I liked the furnishings and it was quiet. The house is close to the water and the view is nice. When I arrived there were a lot of dead flies and lovebugs by the front windows that we had to sweep up. There were also a lot of crumbs in the couches from the previous renters, too, that we tried to clean up, but they didn't have a vacuum. I had to call maintenance because the faucet fell off, in one of the bathrooms, the first time I used it, two lamp bulbs were out and two boards were loose on the porch. They sent someone over quickly and everything was resolved. The only thing this house was missing was a handicap ramp which one of my guest complained about. This house sleeps 14, but only has one king, one queen bed and one sleeper sofa. The other two rooms have 2 bunk beds per room. The house is small, but it was perfect for me and my two quests. I would stay here again.
